New World Ale - Artisan Ale FWK

These fresh wort kits are made ion a Speidel 500L Braumeister Brewery, they are all grain and brewed true to style. They are especially suited to time poor brewers or those who simply want an excellent beer with a minimum of effort.


NOTE: These kits are generally designed to add 3 litres of water to the fermentation to achieve the ideal balance, you may if you wish, not add the extra water for a higher gravity version. Yeast not included.

A hoppy ale with loads of the best of the Pacific Rim hops Galaxy, Kohatu and El Dorado. An easy drinking session ale with a malty backbone using Australian pale malt and Briess Caramel 60.

Dry Hopping is not essential with this beer but if you’d like to experiment you could try 40g of Galaxy, Kohatu or El Dorado in the fermenter 3 days before packaging.

 

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS

Approximate cube volume: 16.5L
Starting Gravity: 1.054 undiluted, 1.046 with 3 litres of water added

Bitterness: 25 IBU’s using Magnum hops.
Grist make up: Joe White Ale 49%, JW Pilsner 48% and JW Crystal 3%.
Late hops: Citra, Galaxy and Nelson Sauvin.

Dry hopping options include: Citra, Galaxy and Nelson Sauvin.


Recommended yeasts:
Bluestone San Diego, SAF US05 or M42.
